The much-anticipated trailer for Kanguva dropped on August 12, 2024, and it’s safe to say the internet is ablaze. The magnum opus starring Suriya Sivakumar immediately shot to the top of trending charts, amassing a staggering 5 million views in record time.

Director Siva, who also happens to be celebrating his birthday, received a special tribute from the leading man. Suriya expressed his immense pride in the team’s work and dedicated the trailer to his director friend.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the world of Kanguva, a visually stunning period drama that promises to be a cinematic spectacle. Suriya’s character, a warrior from the Fire Tribe, is introduced with intense action sequences and a larger-than-life persona. The film’s epic scale and breathtaking visuals have left audiences in awe, with many predicting a blockbuster in the making.

Kanguva is set to hit theaters in October 2024 and is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The film also stars Disha Patani in her Tamil debut, alongside a stellar supporting cast including Bobby Deol, Natty, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Deepa Venkat, and the late G. Marimuthu.
