With the much-awaited War 2 teaser finally out, fans are overjoyed for the release of the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. In the newest installment of the YRF spy universe, Hrithik will join NTR Jr.’s character. The character will possibly act as a rival to Hrithik’s character, Kabir.
The teaser was released on NTR Jr.’s birthday as a form of celebration for his birthday and his debut in Bollywood. Hrithick posted the teaser with the caption saying, “And so it begins, @tarak9999. Be prepared, there is no place for mercy. Welcome to Hell. Love, Kabir. #War2teaser #War2″. Replying to Hrithik Roshan, the Tollywood mega star tweeted, “Mercy doesn’t exist where I come from Kabir. I am ready for the WAR @iHrithik sir!!!”

The teaser opens with a voiceover by Jr NTR, where he describes his interest in Hrithik Roshan’s character, Kabir, whom he calls the best RAW agent and India’s greatest warrior. Even though he follows each and every action of Kabir, he points out that Kabir is unaware of him. In a foreboding tone, Jr NTR exclaims, “You don’t know me yet… but you will,” which cuts into a confrontation.
We see high-octane, visually lavish action sequences between Hrithik and Jr NTR, shot against exotic overseas locations. One quick yet impacting cut sees Kiara Advani in a bikini, building a romantic plot line between herself and Kabir. The teaser ends with Jr NTR’s intimidating declaration: “Prepare for war.”
Fan Reaction
Fans of the franchise are pumped up for the sequel of one of the biggest movies of 2019, expecting an explosion of action and drama between NTR Jr. and Hrithik. They are also excited for the newest addition to the YRF spy universe newest addition after Pathaan and Tiger 3.
On the other hand, fans also criticise the film’s VFX, stating it to be subpar and commenting that it looks rushed. Some fans also expressed that they missed Tiger Shroff from the previous film.
