Vidya Balan Files FIR Against Imposter Behind Fake Insta Profile

Actor Vidya Balan filed an FIR with Mumbai Police against an unknown person for creating a fake Instagram account in her name and soliciting money from others.
According to Mumbai police, an unknown person created an identical Instagram ID and approached people for money while promising them work.
Khar Police has filed an FIR under Section 66(C) of the IT.

Vidya Balan has a large internet following, and she continues to create films and reels that her fans enjoy. This has created a big dilemma for her because someone is using her name and requesting money from others.

According to a police official, an unknown person created an identical Instagram ID of Vidya Balan as well as a Gmail account and then used those identities to contact people involved with Bollywood.

Police said he was asking people for money while promising them jobs.
When Vidya Balan learned of this, she filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police. Based on Balan’s accusation, Khar Police have filed an FIR against an unknown person under Section 66 (C) of the IT, and an inquiry is currently underway.

She had previously revealed in her Instagram stories that someone was running an account under her name.

Meanwhile, Vidya plans to return to the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise.
The talented actor is most recognized for her portrayal of Manjulika in the 2007 psychological horror-comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.

On Monday, actor Kartik Aaryan, who played the lead in the second chapter and will reprise his role in the third, welcomed Vidya onboard.

“And its happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa
Super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar,” he wrote.

Kartik also released an edited video including Vidya’s classic visuals as Manjulika from the first installment blended with visuals of Kartik from the second.

Anees Bazmee, who directed the second part, will direct the third as well. The first part was directed by Priyadarshan and starred Akshay Kumar opposite Vidya.

Kartik appeared alongside Tabu and Kiara Advani in the second installment.

On expanding the franchise, producer Bhushan Kumar said, “The ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik. Together, we are set to deliver a cinematic experience that will both honor the legacy of the franchise and bring double the (laughter and thrill for the audience.”
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ will be released this Diwali.
