Vicky Jain Confirms Shah Rukh Khan’s Nod For ‘Fauji 2’ Sequel, Plans Personal Meeting For Blessings

Ankita Lokhande’s husband Vicky Jain will be making a new foray in his career with Fauji 2. The actor, still basking in the glory of the popularity gained through Bigg Boss 17, will be part of a project that celebrates the continuation of the Shah Rukh Khan-led original 1989 Fauji series. Elated at having such an opportunity, he exclaimed, “I’m fortunate enough to be acting.”. I now have little experience being in front of the camera, so that was not difficult, but acting is a serious business.

When Vicky spoke to Hindustan Times, he broke some ground-level news for all his fans: Shah Rukh Khan has given the green signal to the project. “He did know about it. Sandeep (Singh, producer) informed him and he was quite happy about it,” says Vicky. The team is likely to pay a visit to SRK for his blessings that will push him further ahead.

Vicky also opened up how Ankita has been a source of strength in his life. “Ankita has been like my rock. I wouldn’t be here if she weren’t in my life,” he revealed during the meet while referring to her encouragement that has motivated him to undertake this opportunity. “She told me that it’s my time to just go and have fun,” he added.

Apart from being on cloud nine to be working on Fauji 2, Vicky is quite excited to work with Gauahar Khan in the series. Discussing his journey with us, he remembered his past and said, “I was telling her that at one time, I used to purchase passes to watch you, and today I am working with you.”.
