Actor Varun Dhawan made a heartfelt appearance on the Diwali special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 (KBC 16), where he shared insights about his newborn daughter, Lara, and sought parenting advice from the show’s host, Amitabh Bachchan.
Varun and his wife, Natasha Dalal, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in June 2023. During the episode, Varun expressed how this Diwali is particularly special for their family, marking the first celebration with little Lara. Bachchan emphasized the joy of having a new family member, stating, “This Diwali is very special for you, Varun, as Lakshmi ji has arrived at your home.”
In a candid moment, Varun revealed that he has been singing a special lullaby for his daughter, sharing it with the audience. As he reflected on his journey into fatherhood, he acknowledged the challenges of bonding with his newborn. “I’m still learning to connect with her; it’s just as you said when a baby comes home, everything changes,” he remarked.
Bachchan also shared valuable parenting advice, offering a ‘golden rule’ of happiness: “Keep your wife happy. If she’s content, everything else will fall into place, and with her happy, your daughter will be happy too. Remember: ‘wife is supreme’,” he advised.
Varun and Natasha, who tied the knot in January 2021 in a private ceremony, have kept details about their daughter under wraps for several months before finally revealing her name.
