On November 2, Shah Rukh Khan turned 59 years old, but his birthday has become a moment of great outpouring from a variety of stars from all the films he has done. He also celebrated SRK Day by organizing a fan meet where he answered questions about his life and those about him. During the event, he told everybody something that he had changed and with pride announced to everyone, “Another good thing, I’m not smoking any more guys.” And although he claimed to have expected being breathless throughout the event, he was all right and “catching up,” which the crowd roared in applause in appreciation of.

This clip quickly went viral on Reddit, eliciting excited responses from fans. One person wrote, “Better announcement than a movie. Hope he can stick to it,” while another said, “Thank god. Long live the King!” Others joined in with comments like, “Wow this is great news,” and “Wow good on him.”
For those who do not know, SRK attended the event in Mumbai’s Bandra, hosted by his fan clubs. Towards evening, he posted on his social media striking that memorable arms-outstretched pose set against a sea of faces in the stands, saying he was grateful for an absolutely memorable birthday. He, in a violet T-shirt, beanie and shades thanked everyone for coming and for making his evening special- thanks my love to all of them who made it to see me on my birthday… and to all who did not, all my love.
Meanwhile, Gauri Khan, wife of Shah Rukh, gave viewers a sneak peek at their birthday bash at home while Suhana Khan with close friends. Gauri on Saturday took up her Instagram and posted a birthday picture, apparently at residence Mannat, where she’s seen cutting the birthday cake and is accompanied by Shah Rukh and Suhana. “A memorable birthday evening with loved ones.,” she captioned with the photo.
