The Night Manager nominated for 2024 International Emmy Awards

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences revealed the nominees for the 2024 International Emmy Awards on September 19. Among the contenders is the Disney+ Hotstar series The Night Manager, featuring Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor, which has earned a nomination for Best Drama Series. In total, 56 nominees were recognized across 14 categories, showcasing talent from 21 countries.

Competing for the Award

The Night Manager will face off against other notable series, including Les Gouttes de Dieu (Drops of God) from France, The Newsreader – Season 2 from Australia, and Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido – Season 2 from Argentina.

Actor Anil Kapoor expressed his excitement about the nomination, stating, “That’s fantastic news,” in an interview.

Series Background

The Night Manager is an Indian adaptation of the acclaimed British series of the same name, created by Sandeep Modi. The second season is currently available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and features a cast that includes Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee. The series is described on the streaming platform as follows: “A dreaded arms dealer, a night manager, and a dangerous game of love and betrayal – it’s showtime!”
