Taapsee Pannu And Vikrant Massey’s ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’ To Premiere On This Date

‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba,’ featuring Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey, is scheduled for release on August 9. Netflix India revealed the news on Monday through a teaser video showcasing the film’s stars Vikrant, Taapsee, and Sunny Kaushal.

Netflix stated, “9 August ki Haseen shaam, Dillruba ke naam Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, is out on 9 August, only on Netflix,” suggesting a direct continuation from where the original film concluded.

In February, the creators of the upcoming thriller ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba,’ featuring Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu, and Sunny Kaushal, released the film’s official teaser.

Taking to Instagram, OTT platform Netflix shared the teaser that they captioned, “Rani ki kahaani me pyaar aur pagalpan, dono abhi baaki hain. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is coming soon, only on Netflix!”

The brief teaser offers a peek into the upcoming sequel, featuring the song ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ from the classic film ‘Karz’ playing in the background. ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ also includes Jimmy Shergill in a prominent role.

‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’ follows the success of its predecessor ‘Haseen Dilruba,’ which debuted exclusively on Netflix in July 2021 and received positive feedback from viewers. The original starred Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu, and Harshvardhan Rane in leading roles. The sequel is set to premiere on Netflix.
