Sumona Chakravarti Speaks Out About Kapil Sharma Show Rumors

Sumona Chakravarti, known for her role on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, is set to appear on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, which starts on July 27. There have been several rumors that she left ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ because she was upset with Kapil Sharma or that she wasn’t informed about his new show, ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. In a recent interview with, Sumona addressed these rumors and explained the truth behind the situation.

Addressing the Rumors

Sumona clarified that the rumors about her leaving ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ due to a fallout with Kapil Sharma are completely false. She explained, “It’s so strange because just a few days ago, I had a nice interview where I said the exact opposite of what these rumors claim. I was in Romania filming for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ while these stories were spreading.”

She continued, “The Kapil Sharma Show ended in July last year. I didn’t exit, resign, or get fired; the show simply concluded. We all moved on to new projects. I’m now doing ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, and Kapil is working on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. There is absolutely no bad blood between us.”

Reaction to Negative Reports

Sumona also shared that she used to be affected by negative news in her early career, but now she has learned to deal with it. “I don’t let these things get to me anymore. I remind myself that ‘your opinion of me is not my responsibility’,” she said.

While Sumona is not part of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show‘, she is excited about her upcoming appearance on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’. “Joining this show was a big surprise for me, and I’m thrilled for my fans to see this new side of me. I’m looking forward to how I performed in the challenges on the show,” she shared.
