Salman khan confronts his past self
In anticipation of the Bigg Boss 18 premiere, ColorsTV shared a new promo on Saturday featuring host Salman Khan. In the Instagram video, Salman stood in front of two screens displaying his AI-generated younger and older selves.
When the AI-generated young Salman asked the host where he was, Salman replied, “Confession room.” The AI then inquired, “Ab kaunsa confession de raha hai? Kya lafda kiya tune?” (What confession are you giving? What mess have you created now?). A visibly irritated Salman responded, “Ruk yaar. Na maine kuch kiya hai, na tune kuch kiya tha” (Wait. Neither did I do anything now, nor did you do anything earlier). He expressed his frustration, saying he didn’t expect to feel so annoyed seeing his past self.
Next, the AI-generated old Salman asked, “Should I explain with love or a slap?” An exasperated Salman stared at the screen with wide eyes. As the older Salman indicated he was leaving, the host asked where he was headed. The old Salman replied that he was preparing for Bigg Boss 38. Curious, the current host inquired, “Is Bigg Boss still there in that season?” receiving a curt response from his older self.

The old Salman also reminded the host of someone’s birthday, which made him feel sad. The video concluded with the caption, “Salman Khan bhi nahi bache Bigg Boss ke chakravyuh se, toh kya hone waala hai contestants ka haal” (Salman Khan was also not spared from the trap of Bigg Boss, so what will be the condition of contestants?). The promo announced, “Dekhiye #BiggBoss18, Grand Premiere kal raat 9 baje 9 pm, sirf (only on) #Colors aur @officialjiocinema par.”
Fans reacted positively to the post, with one commenting, “Ab kya lafda kiya tune was personal” (What did you do now was personal). Another noted, “Mr handsome forever, looking so handsome in the future, this is an amazing video.” One user said, “This was so cute @beingsalmankhan!” while another remarked, “This is funny and weird.”
Salman has hosted Bigg Boss since its fourth season in 2010 and recently hosted Bigg Boss OTT 2 on JioCinema. The inaugural season of Bigg Boss OTT was led by filmmaker Karan Johar. The previous season, Bigg Boss 17, saw stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui crowned the winner. Recently, the show’s makers provided fans with a sneak peek of the house, all set for this season.
