Actor Salman Khan recently delighted fans by sharing a special video from his mother Salma Khan’s birthday celebration. The video, posted on X (formerly Twitter), featured Salma dancing with her son Sohail Khan during the joyous occasion.

In the clip, Salma Khan wore a floral suit, while Sohail kept it casual in a full-sleeve T-shirt, denim, and a cap. The duo swayed to the music, creating a heartwarming moment. Sohail even quipped to someone behind the camera, “I’ll match her steps,” drawing laughter from onlookers. After the dance, Salma shared a warm hug with Sohail.

Salman Khan captioned the video, “Mummmmmyyyyy happy birthday… mother India, our world,” tagging his siblings Sohail, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and Arpita Khan. Sohail also shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Happy birthday mother India.”

A Family Celebration in Mumbai

The Khan family celebrated Salma’s birthday with close friends and relatives at a gathering hosted at Arpita Khan’s newly launched restaurant in Mumbai. Fitness coach Deanne Panday, who was also present, posted several photos and videos from the event.

In another delightful clip, Salma was seen cutting a massive cake surrounded by her daughters, Arpita and Alvira, and other family members. Helen, Salim Khan’s second wife, joined Salma on the dance floor, adding to the festive atmosphere. Deanne Panday wrote, “Happy Birthday To Salma Aunty. You are like my mom too, love you so much. Such a blast we have had today & always.” She also revealed that Salma turned 83.

Salma and Salim Khan’s Legacy

Salma Khan married veteran screenwriter Salim Khan in 1964, and together they have five children—Salman, Sohail, Arbaaz, Alvira, and Arpita. Salim married Helen in 1981, and the two families share a close bond.
