The official trailer for the upcoming courtroom drama series ‘Maamla Legal Hai,’ featuring actor Ravi Kishan, was released on Friday by the show’s creators.

The OTT platform Netflix shared the trailer on Instagram, captioning it, “Welcome to District Court Patparganj, where justice is served with a side of laughter! Maamla Legal Hai, coming on 1 March, only on Netflix.” The trailer provides a glimpse into the comically chaotic world of the fictional Patparganj District Court.

The show introduces characters like VD Tyagi (Ravi Kishan), a clever lawyer challenging the long arms of justice, Ananya Shroff (Naila Grrewal), a Harvard LLM alum passionate about justice, and Sujata Negi (Nidhi Bisht), an original advocate yet to represent a case.

Additionally, there’s Vishwas Pandey (Anant V Joshi), the court manager who sees himself as the Donna Paulson of Patparganj District Court. Ravi Kishan expressed his excitement about the show, stating, “This is my first time donning the character of a lawyer, and I can’t tell you how much fun it was.” Directed by Rahul Pandey, ‘Maamla Legal Hai’ offers a unique perspective on the legal profession, featuring a diverse group of lawyers. The series, produced by Amit Golani, Biswapati Sarkar, Sameer Saxena, and Saurabh Khanna, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on March 1.
