Rashmika Mandanna Hints at ‘Pushpa 3’ Ahead of Pushpa 2 Release: ‘Still So Much Work Left’

Rashmika Mandanna shared an emotional post about her final day on the set of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Just a day earlier, Allu Arjun, the movie’s lead, had posted a picture from his own last day of filming. Fans were particularly excited when Rashmika hinted at the possibility of Pushpa 3, sparking speculation that the franchise may not end just yet.

Rashmika Reflects on Her Journey

In an Instagram Story, Rashmika recounted the hectic schedule leading up to her last shoot day. After filming for an entire day, she flew to Chennai for an event and returned to Hyderabad the same night. After only a few hours of sleep, she rushed back to set for her final scene.

Rashmika expressed how, in her 8-year career, 5 of those years had been dedicated to the Pushpa films. She shared, “Out of the 7/8 years, the last 5 years being on this set almost made this set my home in the industry, and finally, it was my last day.”

Hinting at Pushpa 3

While Pushpa 2 is nearing completion, Rashmika acknowledged that much work remains before the film’s release. She also subtly hinted at the potential for Pushpa 3. “Of course, there’s still so much work left and apparently a part 3, but it felt different… it felt overwhelming… it felt like it was ending… some sort of sadness that even I didn’t understand,” she wrote.

She reflected on the hard work she had put into the films, adding, “I was feeling tired, exhausted but at the same time so grateful.”

Pushpa 2: The Rule

Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, is the eagerly awaited sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021). The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with music by T-Series, Pushpa 2 will be released in theaters on December 5. The film has already garnered strong advance bookings in the US, making it one of the most anticipated Indian films.
