Release Date and Theme
YRF revealed that Mardaani 3 will hit theatres on February 27, 2026. In their caption, they wrote:
“The countdown begins for #Mardaani3! On Holi, good will fight evil as Shivani Shivaji Roy returns to the big screen on February 27, 2026.”
Holi, which falls on March 4 in 2026, represents the victory of good over evil. The makers chose this timing to highlight the film’s theme — a violent and gripping battle between justice and crime.
A Dark and Deadly Thriller
Rani, who has portrayed Shivani in the previous two parts, returns once again as the honest and brave police officer. Talking about the film, she shared that it will be “dark, deadly and brutal.” This comment has increased excitement among fans, who flooded the post with reactions.
One fan commented, “This one franchise is far, far better than all Salman and Ranbir movies.” Another added, “Wow, what a look. Rani is slaying it and how.” A third person wrote, “She is brutal this time. My Rani is back.” Someone else posted, “Rani ain’t playing. Criminals better take early retirement.”
Production and Legacy
Abhiraj Minawala directs the film, with Aayush Gupta writing the script. The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra. While the makers haven’t revealed the storyline yet, the hype is already building.
Mardaani is considered the most successful solo female-led franchise in Hindi cinema. It has earned both box office success and strong praise from critics. Over time, the series has built a loyal fanbase and achieved cult status.
