Ram Charan walks barefoot
On Saturday morning, Ram Charan was seen heading to Lucknow from Hyderabad, catching attention with his all-black outfit and notably going barefoot as he stepped out of a luxury vehicle. Known for observing an annual 41-day period of devotion, Ram Charan wears the Ayyappa Swamy mala, which involves wearing black clothing and abstaining from footwear whenever he isn’t filming.

Ram Charan’s journey to Lucknow is for the highly anticipated teaser release of Shankar’s Game Changer, set to launch at 6:03 pm on Saturday. Featuring Ram and Kiara Advani in lead roles, the film’s team teased fans with a brief sneak peek on Friday night, building up excitement with quick, dramatic cuts hinting at the storyline.
Game Changer, scripted by Karthik Subbaraj, also stars Anjali, Samuthirakani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil in key roles. While details of the plot remain under wraps, the promotional content suggests a focus on electoral politics. The film’s music, composed by Thaman S, sets the tone for its January 10 release, timed for the Sankranthi festival.
Apart from Game Changer, Ram Charan is set for more major projects, including films directed by Buchi Babu Sana and Sukumar. Currently, he has begun filming the Buchi Babu project alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Shiva Rajkumar, while his work with Sukumar is expected to start soon.
