Actor Preity Zinta recently spoke out against the growing trend of labeling people on social media. She strongly condemned this behavior and urged everyone to engage in open discussions rather than making quick judgments. Preity Questions the Increasing Cynicism on Social Media
On Friday, Preity took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her frustration with the negativity online. She pointed out how people often assume hidden agendas behind simple actions. Additionally, she addressed the perception that anyone who admires Prime Minister Narendra Modi must automatically share his political views.
She wrote, “If one talks about their first chat with an AI bot then people presume it’s a paid promotion. If you appreciate your PM, then you are a bhakt and god forbid, if you are a proud Hindu or Indian, then you are an andh bhakt! Let’s keep it real folks and take people for who they are and not who we think they should be! Maybe we all need to take a chill pill and just be happy to communicate with each other.”
Preity Addresses Comments About Her Marriage
Anticipating that some users might question her marriage to Gene Goodenough, she responded in advance. She wrote, “Now don’t ask me why I married Gene. I married him because I love him. Kyuki sarhad par ek aisa shaks hai, jo mere liye aapni jaan de sakta hai, samjhe (Because there is one person across the border who can give his life for me). If you know you know. Ting!”
Preity married Gene in 2016 in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. Since then, they have built a happy life together and are now parents to twins.
Preity Shares Her Experience with AI Chatbot Grok3
Earlier that day, Preity had posted about her interaction with Grok3, an AI chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s company xAI. She mentioned that she spent over two hours chatting with it and found the conversation fun and unfiltered. In fact, she said the experience felt so realistic that she almost forgot she was speaking to a machine. “It’s both scary and fascinating,” she wrote. Furthermore, she praised the developers for their efforts.
However, some users quickly accused her of promoting the chatbot for money. In response, Preity clarified that her excitement was genuine and not part of any paid promotion.
