Paris Olympics 2024: Ariana Grande Embraces 1960s Glam In Retro Boatneck Dress | See Pics

Ariana Grande fully embraced a retro aesthetic at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Sunday. The 31-year-old pop star dazzled on Day 2 of the games as she attended the women’s artistic gymnastics qualifications with her brother Frankie and co-star Cynthia Erivo.

While her Wicked-inspired ensemble for the opening ceremony generated buzz, Ariana opted for a vintage 1960s look this time. She wowed in a gorgeous boatneck dress paired with oversized sunglasses, showcasing a timeless retro charm.

Ariana’s white boatneck dress exuded understated glamour. The boatneck design elegantly framed her shoulders, while the cinched waist accentuated her figure. The sleeveless cut and flared midi hemline added a classic touch, emphasizing the dress’s simplicity and allowing her natural beauty to shine.

To complement her dress, Ariana accessorized with oversized white-rimmed sunglasses, pearl stud earrings, and a wicker handbag with brown leather accents. Her look evoked the classic elegance of Audrey Hepburn. Her makeup featured brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, mascara, contoured cheeks, glowing highlighter, and glossy mauve lipstick. Her signature high ponytail completed her chic retro look.

The event was also attended by other stars such as Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga, Cynthia Erivo, Tom Cruise, and Snoop Dogg, who joined in cheering for the gymnasts.

For the opening ceremony, Ariana Grande had previously embraced a 1950s-inspired style, wearing a sleeveless pink gown by Thom Browne, complete with a pink bow and white gloves, as reported by WWD.
