Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were recently spotted at Vrindavan as the legendary cricketer recently retired from Test Cricket. The couple finally seemed to have caught a break from their busy schedules, as Anushkha earlier revealed how the celebrity couple only spent 21 days together in the first 6 months of their marriage.
Anushka Sharma revealed the emotional and logistical challenges of the relationship, “In fact, during the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 days together. Yes, I calculated. So when I visit him overseas, it’s to squeeze that one meal together. It’s precious time for us. People assume when I’m visiting Virat or when he is visiting me that it’s a holiday, but it’s not. One person is always working.”
Anuksha had also opened up about back-to-back film commitments and feeling burnt out after the shooting of her movie ‘Zero’ with Shah Rukh Khan, and how she purposefully took time off movies to avoid stress, “I wanted to take a couple of months off after Zero. After I got married, it was like a whirlwind. I was back on the sets shooting for Sui Dhaaga and later Zero. I was just working back-to-back. Whatever time I got, I’d try to balance and meet Virat. But I was feeling too worked up. I told my team I don’t even want to read anything right now.”
This trip for the couple serves as a much-needed break from the hassle of tight schedules and international trips, as they were seen enjoying their time in Vrindavan, visiting Premanand Maharaj, offering the couple a much-deserved time off together.
