OG Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra Stuns In ‘Berrilicious’ Manish Malhotra Saree

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the original Desi Girl, recently returned to Mumbai, stunning everyone in a custom Manish Malhotra saree for her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding festivities.

Her stylist, Ami Patel, praised Priyanka’s look on Instagram, calling her ‘Peeceelicious Berrylicious’. The deep-hued saree showcased Manish Malhotra’s exquisite design, featuring tone-on-tone 3D embroidery, paired with a matching 3D embroidered blouse. This bold and chic ensemble set the perfect glamorous tone for the occasion.

Priyanka elevated her look with luxurious Bvlgari jewelry, including a choker and layered necklace adorned with pearls, rubies, diamonds, and a diamond bracelet. The regal accessories added a touch of elegance and highlighted the ‘pearlcore’ trend in 2024. Celebrity stylist Ami Patel, known for celebrating Priyanka’s unique style, nailed this classic yet fun look, making it ideal for the upcoming wedding and festive season.

Adding drama to her overall appearance, Priyanka’s retro high messy bun, styled by celebrity hair stylist Florian Hurel, was complemented by a bold lip color. Makeup artist Uday Shirali completed her look, ensuring Priyanka radiated elegance.

Taking to Instagram, Priyanka shared several photos in the festive saree, striking multiple poses alongside her dear friend Tamanna Dutt, who wore a pastel saree. Priyanka captioned the post, ‘Berries and cream’. Manish Malhotra responded with heart emojis, a testament to the magic his designs create, both on and off the screen. Over the years, Priyanka has frequently celebrated Manish’s creations, with the saree becoming a staple in her iconic looks, including the memorable drape she wore in the song ‘Desi Girl’ from ‘Dostana’.

Siddharth Chopra, Priyanka’s brother, got engaged to Neelam Upadhyaya, and their roka ceremony in April 2024 was attended by Priyanka, Nick Jonas, and their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
