Nana Patekar credits OTT for breaking stereotypes in the industry

Nana Patekar is gearing up for the release of his next film, «The Vaccine War.» The veteran actor discussed the rise of OTT platforms in an interview. He talked about how the recent surge in OTT has provided more opportunities for actors who may not have conventional looks to showcase their talent. Nana stated, «At that time, we didn›t get a chance. People like us who don›t have conventional looks Om Puri didn›t have a conventional face; Irrfan didn›t have any particular look; I didn›t have a specific appearance; Manoj Bajpayee didn›t have a recognized face; and Raghubir Yadav didn›t have a distinctive look. Now, we all have a stage to display our talent. People have recognized them and started appreciating their work. Following the rise of OTT platforms, artists now have another medium, in addition to theater and cinema, to showcase their talents,» Nana Patekar stated in the same interview.
