Mahesh Babu Shares Iconic Moment With MS Dhoni At Anant & Radhika’s Wedding

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu left fans elated after sharing a ‘legendary’ picture with former cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni from a promotional event held in Mumbai. On Sunday, Mahesh took to Instagram to share the picture where both celebrities posed for cameras. The picture was clicked at the Shubh Vivah event held in Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre on July 12.

It was the wedding of the youngest son of the chairman of Reliance Industries—Mukesh Ambani—to the daughter of another industrialist, Viren Merchant. Amongst several others, this big fat wedding celebrated on July 12 had several international celebrities and prominent personas across genres attending it.

On the guest list at this wedding were several icons of Bollywood, namely Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh—the list goes on—and international star Kim Kardashian. The beautiful couple Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani had their wedding celebrations at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Through all the different functions and festivities, Radhika was seen impressing with her sense of style and poise. For the vidaai ceremony, she wore an intricate sindoori-red attire designed by Manish Malhotra post the marriage done in a traditional ivory and red lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Her outfit was a fine blend of heritage with a flair of modernity that could only be achieved by stylist Rhea Kapoor. The sindoori red-colored lehenga featured intricate Karchobi work on the appareled backless blouse with a brocade silk lehenga skirt in bright colors and life of Banarasi prints.

She wore a Banarasi silk dupatta with its veil dramatically reaching down into a train—classically timeless. Her royal look was enhanced by family heirloom pieces of jewelry: h-gold, diamonds, emeralds, all being passed down generations since time. From the choker to the mang tika, every accessory added on to her majesty as she walked on her special day.

According to reports, the occassion of the marriage reception, “Mangal Utsav,” is scheduled for July 14, and the festivities shall continue.
