Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Graces Krishna-Themed Musical ‘Rajadhiraaj’ In Delhi

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attended the musical extravaganza Rajadhiraaj: Love. Life. Leela in Delhi on Sunday. Conceptualized by Dhanraj Nathwani, the show celebrates the life and teachings of Shri Krishna. Presented by Executive Producer Bhoomi Nathwani, the production offers a heartfelt depiction of Krishna’s grace, magnanimity, and timeless lessons.

Renowned lyricist and screenwriter Prasoon Joshi penned the narrative, while seasoned musical theatre director Shruti Sharma helmed the project. Creative producers Parthiv Gohil and Viral Rachh, veterans of music and theatre, contributed to its success, with National Award-winning writer Raam Mori conducting in-depth story research. Esteemed costume designer Neeta Lulla crafted over 1,800 bespoke costumes, vividly bringing mythological characters to life.

Featuring a cast of over 180 performers, the musical spans Krishna’s journey from Vrindavan to Mathura and Dwarka. Twenty original soundtracks by composers Sachin-Jigar blend Indian classical music with Western symphonic elements recorded in Budapest, enhancing the theatrical experience.

The show, after a successful run at Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, is now captivating Delhi audiences and will run until December 8.

Earlier, Bollywood celebrities like Shahid Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar attended the musical. Shahid Kapoor shared his admiration, stating, “It’s a great opportunity to watch it in Delhi. Everything about Him motivates us…The show was done spectacularly.”
