Taking the stage to accept the honor, Aujla delivered a heartfelt speech that resonated deeply. Aujla’s debut studio album, B.T.F.U., released in 2021, achieved remarkable success with over a hundred million streams and reaching #6 on Spotify’s Global Chart. He further solidified his stature as India’s leading artist, ranking #38 on the Global Digital Artist Ranking.
In 2023, Aujla’s album “Making Memories” made waves by debuting at #5 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, marking the highest debut for a Punjabi album. It garnered 7.5 million streams in Canada and over 24 million globally in its first week, with every track charting in the Top 200 in both India and Canada.
Executive produced by Ikky, “Making Memories” not only topped Billboard but also reached #3 on Spotify’s Global Top Albums and claimed #1 on Apple Music charts in India and Canada. Aujla’s online presence is equally impressive, nearing 3 billion views on YouTube, over one billion audio streams worldwide, and maintaining 11 million monthly Spotify listeners alongside a growing base of 8 million social media followers.
Canadian fans can catch Aujla on his upcoming 2024 world tour, “It Was All A Dream,” which includes stops in Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver alongside producer Ikky.

Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, is scheduled to marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant, on July 12 in Mumbai. The festivities will continue with a “Shubh Aashirvaad” ceremony on July 13 at Jio World Centre.
