Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor’s mother Nirmal Kapoor passed away on May 2. She was 90. According to news agency ANI, she passed away in Mumbai. A few members of the Kapoor family were seen arriving outside Boney’s Mumbai home on Friday afternoon after it was reported that Nirmal had passed away.

In paparazzi account videos, Janhvi Kapoor was seen at the venue. She was occupied on her phone texting someone, as she continued to engage with Shikhar Pahariya by her side. Shikhar was seen in an arm rest, perhaps due to an injury on his left hand. The two were seen chatting right outside the main door of the house. A few other members and close friends of the Kapoor family were seen arriving as well. Boney Kapoor was spotted at the main entrance as well since he was chatting with some other individuals for a short while.

Anil celebrated his mother’s 90th birthday last year in September. He took to his X account to share a series of happy family pictures with everyone. Nirmal was the widow of late film producer Surinder Kapoor and mother to four children, Boney, Anil, Sanjay and Reena Kapoor Marwah.

On the professional front, Janhvi will soon be seen acting in Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound. The movie will receive its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival at Un Certain Regard section in May. Janhvi will join the premiere as well as the cast of the movie, including Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa.
Audiences will catch Janhvi sharing screen space with Ram Charan in his highly-awaited 16th movie, Peddi. Buchi Babu Sana directs Peddi, featuring Shiva Raj Kumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu in lead roles. Peddi is produced by the director Sukumar’s own banner, Sukumar Writings, with music composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman.
