Janhvi Kapoor Shares Video, Talks About Hospitalization Post-Discharge

Actor Janhvi Kapoor, who recently left the hospital, shared a post about her experience. On Wednesday, Janhvi posted a video on Instagram, showcasing her transformation from a makeup-free look to a glamorous one.

Janhvi Dances to ‘Ulajh’ Song

In the video, Janhvi initially appears in pyjamas without makeup. She then transitions to a blue outfit with full makeup and sunglasses, posing while the song “Shaukan” from her film Ulajh, sung by Jubin Nautiyal, Neha Kakkar, and Shashwat Sachdev, plays in the background.

Janhvi Discusses Hospitalization

In her caption, Janhvi wrote, “This babe was in the hosp 3 days ago (face with thermometer emoji). Aur aaj (And today)? Poora ka poora (lion emoji) kha jayegi (drooling face and two hearts emojis) (She will devour the lion). #Ulajh in theatres on the 2nd of August (spider web emoji).”

Reason for Hospitalization

Janhvi was discharged on Sunday after being treated for food poisoning. She had been admitted to a South Mumbai hospital on Thursday due to deteriorating health and was diagnosed with food poisoning.

A source told Hindustan Times that Janhvi had a “severe case of food poisoning” but is now recovering, though she is still dealing with weakness.

About Ulajh

On Monday, the song “Shaukan” from Ulajh was released. The film’s trailer was also recently unveiled, featuring Janhvi Kapoor as Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, who navigates a challenging mission at the London embassy. Her role addresses nepotism and breaks stereotypes.

More Details on Ulajh

The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah as a mysterious undercover agent, adding suspense to the story. The trailer hints at a web of secrets and betrayals, with an internal leak endangering undercover agents and thrusting Suhana into a desperate survival struggle. Ulajh, written by Sudhanshu Saria and Parveez Shaikh with dialogues by Atika Chauhan, is set to release on August 2.
