Born Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, Akshay’s journey to stardom wasn’t easy. He recalled a moment from his school days when his father, frustrated with his poor academic performance, almost reprimanded him. Instead, he urged him to think about his future. Young Akshay confidently replied, “I will become a hero.” Despite scoring low marks, his passion for sports stood out. Akshay convinced his father to let him pursue his passion for Karate, leading him to Bangkok for rigorous training.
