Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda has been discharged from CritiCare Asia Hospital in Mumbai after recovering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The injury occurred when he accidentally shot himself with his own revolver. Upon his release, Govinda expressed his heartfelt gratitude to those who supported him during his recovery, thanking Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the police, and the media for their assistance. He also extended special thanks to his fans for their prayers and love during this challenging time, stating, “I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their kindness.”

How Did This Happen With Govinda

Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, reported that the incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. as the actor was getting ready for a 6 a.m. flight to Kolkata for a show. While handling his licensed revolver, Govinda accidentally triggered the gun while placing it in a cupboard, resulting in a bullet striking his leg.
