Veteran actress Neena Gupta is set to star in the upcoming film ‘Hindi-Vindi,’ which also features Mihir Ahuja, known for his role in ‘The Archies.’ On Wednesday, the first look of the film was revealed, presenting the lead actors in a striking and dramatic visual. The poster suggests a story filled with emotion, drama, and music.
The film is directed by Ali Sayed, with a script by Jay Sharma and production by Aniket Deshkar, Anil Sharma, and Sunny Shah. Director Ali Sayed expressed excitement about unveiling the first look, calling it a “labour of love” and hinting that it is just a taste of what’s to come. He believes it will generate anticipation among audiences for the film’s release.
The music for ‘Hindi-Vindi’ is crafted by the acclaimed duo Javed-Mohsin and Guy Sebastian. Currently in the final stages of post-production, the film is a musical drama that explores intergenerational language barriers within the migrant community. It is tentatively scheduled to premiere in September 2024, around Hindi Diwas, celebrating the Hindi language.
In addition to ‘Hindi-Vindi,’ Neena Gupta will appear in an upcoming Malayalam series on Disney+ Hotstar and a film with Rakul Preet Singh, tentatively titled ‘Made in India.’ She is also involved in a project called ‘Baa,’ featuring a dog. Neena Gupta was last seen in the third season of ‘Panchayat,’ where she faced challenges working on her language skills while shooting in Mahodiya village, Madhya Pradesh. ‘
