Filmmaker Manish Gupta has been booked by Mumbai police for allegedly stabbing his driver during a fight over unpaid salary. According to officials at the Versova Police Station, the incident occurred on Thursday night at Gupta’s home in the Sagar Sanjog building.

The driver, Rajibul Islam Lashkar (32), accused Gupta of attacking him with a kitchen knife after a heated argument. Police said, “Gupta allegedly injured his driver Rajibul Islam Lashkar.”

Details of the Incident

Lashkar’s lawyer, Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh, has demanded Gupta’s immediate arrest. According to the FIR, Lashkar worked for Gupta for three years, earning a monthly salary of ₹23,000. However, Lashkar claims he was often paid late.
