A new clip showing the singer-actor critiquing his breakfast after the event has gone viral—and it’s absolutely sidesplitting.
Diljit Gets the Louis Vuitton’s Breakfast
In a now-viral video, Diljit gives a glimpse of the lavish breakfast served to him post-Met Gala, courtesy Louis Vuitton. Keeping with his characteristic funny banter from his favorite cooking vlogs, Diljit critiqued the dishes in his native Punjabi language.
“They say, ‘We want to do Louis Vuitton’s breakfast. Come eat Louis Vuitton’s breakfast. This is truffle eggs. They have put hot makhani sauce on eggs. What is this?'” he jokes, clearly entertained.
His commentary continues as he laughs at a second dish—avocado served on top of a red soup base. “Wow, what a beautiful, very cute. I was wondering what was coming next, but they gave me avocado with all this on top and some tomato. After Met Gala, this is a hilarious story, bro.”

At the Met Gala, Diljit made a strong cultural statement in a spotless white suit, topped with a draped shawl, turban, and ancient kirpan. The ensemble, created by Prabal Gurung, was finished with dazzling jewelry that emphasized his heritage and identity.

What’s Next for Diljit
On the professional front, Diljit is preparing for Border 2, which is directed by Anurag Singh and produced by JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, and Bhushan Kumar. The movie has an ensemble cast of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty, and is set to release in theatres on January 23, 2026. He is also part of the upcoming No Entry sequel that is being produced by Boney Kapoor, featuring Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor.
