Diljit Dosanjh: Surprise Exit From No Entry 2 Confirmed by Director Anees Bazmee

Director Anees Bazmee confirms the exit of Diljit Dosanjh from No Entry 2 after a conflict with the dates. Boney Kapoor, in an interview with Filmfare, disclosed issues with Diljit’s schedule after rumours of his exit over creative differences surfaced. “Yes, there are date issues, but certainly no creative differences.

“That is absolutely false. We are trying our best to work the dates out.” He said.

Date Clashes, No Frustrations

Boney Kapoor also announced that a new cast will follow, starring Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh. Actor Anil Kapoor was reportedly upset over this. He was in the original star cast with Salman Khan and Ardeen Khan in the 2005 blockbuster, where it made twice the amount of money that was in the original budget. Boney Kapoor is now rumored to cast 10 female actors for the project

Anees Bazmee Speaks Out

Anees decided to come out and confirm Diljit’s exit from the film. “Our last meeting, which was the second time that we met, lasted for 10 minutes. We were discussing his dates because there was a bit of back and forth. He told me that he’s trying to work out his dates. Boney ji was also there.

Since it’s a big film, everything that happens makes news. I’m used to these things and I don’t let such things bother me. Main kabhi safaiyaan nahi deta. Jo hona hai, woh hi hoga aur jo hoga, achcha hi hoga. (I never give clarifications. Whatever is meant to happen, will happen, and whatever happens, will be for the best.)”

“I’m just happy that the film is getting made. There’s no bigger joy than that,” He said in an interview with News18. There doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between Diljit and Asees, as the director praised him for his honesty, saying, “Diljit is a very honest human being and he’s a very talented actor.”
