JioHotstar is coming up with another installment of their hit thriller series Criminal Justice, with Pankaj Tripathi as Madhav Mishra, and directed by Rohan Sippy, which is one of the most anticipated shows of 2025. Pankaj had earlier rejected the idea of the show when pitched to him when he learnt that the show was an adaptation of a British show which ran for two seasons.
He later came on board after being convinced that the show was adapted to fit the realm of the Indian Judicial System.
Murder and Twists Define Season 4
The fourth season features Dr. Raj Nagpal, who finds himself accused of murdering a nurse by the name of Roshini, with whom he had an affair by cheating on his wife, Anju. Through twists and turns, it’s later revealed that Anju is also involved in the murder of Roshini.
The plot revolves around Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi), an advocate tasked with exonerating Dr. Nagpal in the nail-biting thriller.
Controversy Brews Over Release Format
JioHotstar reportedly sparked controversy by releasing only the first three episodes of the series, outraging fans who saw the move as a tactic to boost monthly subscriptions and generate hype through staggered releases.
