Several Bollywood celebrities, including Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, and Harshvardhan Kapoor, gathered in Mumbai on Saturday to pay their last respects to Nirmal Kapoor, the mother of veteran actor Anil Kapoor. She passed away on May 2 at the age of 90 after a brief hospital stay at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

The funeral is being held at the Vile Parle Crematorium on S.V. Road in Mumbai. Many stars were seen arriving at the crematorium to offer condolences. Rani Mukerji appeared in a white kurta and blue jeans. Harshvardhan Kapoor, Nirmal Kapoor’s grandson, was also present, followed by his sister Sonam Kapoor. Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, dressed in white, also attended.

Boney Kapoor, Nirmal’s son, was seen at the venue. Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor arrived hand in hand to bid farewell to their grandmother. Earlier in the morning, the Kapoor family held the Antim Darshan at Nirmal Kapoor’s residence. Family members including Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Sonam Kapoor were present for the final viewing.
