Bad Newz: Vicky Kaushal Teases ‘Jaanam’ Song, Showcases Chemistry With Triptii Dimri

Following the immense popularity of “Tauba Tauba,” Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri are set to captivate audiences once again with their upcoming upbeat number, “Jaanam.” The first poster of the song offers a glimpse into their dynamic chemistry. Vicky shared the photo, announcing, “#JAANAM song out on 9th July!” In the image, Vicky and Triptii exude glamour and charm as they pose together inside a pool.

Take a look at the photo:

Directed by Anand Tiwari, “Bad Newz” is a romantic comedy showcasing a fresh trio of talents: Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. The trailer, with its unconventional storyline where Dimri’s character discovers she’s expecting twins from two different fathers played by Kaushal and Virk, has intrigued and piqued audience curiosity about the film’s plot.

Recently, Vicky discussed the upcoming movie, stating, “Shooting this film felt like home to me because Anand Tiwari and Karan Johar, with whom I collaborated, created a comforting atmosphere. The script stood out to me as very strong and the film’s concept was refreshing. Although I haven’t explored comedy extensively as an actor, I found the humor in this film appealing.”

“It was a new experience for me, and the energy required for these scenes was palpable on set. Working with a team that felt like family was crucial because comedy is somewhat uncharted territory for me. So, I enthusiastically embraced the challenge,” added the actor.

Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, “Bad Newz” is scheduled to hit theaters on July 19, 2024.
