Aryan Khan Follows In Shah Rukh Khan’s Footsteps: ‘A Workaholic Who Cares For All,’ Says Manoj Pahwa

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is gearing up for his directorial debut with the web show Stardom. Veteran actor Manoj Pahwa, who is part of the show’s cast, recently shared his experience of working with Aryan in an interview with Hindi Rush. Pahwa, known for his candid insights, revealed that Aryan’s work ethic closely mirrors that of his father, Shah Rukh Khan.

Aryan’s Dedication to His Craft

When asked about Aryan’s approach to work, Pahwa noted that Aryan is a young and hardworking individual who is deeply committed to his projects. He said, “Aryan is a young and hardworking boy. The process of filming this series was quite long, but it was definitely a lot of fun. I know Shah Rukh works 18-20 hours a day if required. He is a workaholic, and I have seen Aryan work in a similar way too.”

This comparison to Shah Rukh Khan, who is well-known for his tireless work ethic, highlights Aryan’s dedication to his craft and his determination to make a mark in the industry.

A Caring and Respectful Personality

Pahwa didn’t just stop at Aryan’s work ethic. He also mentioned how Aryan, much like his father, is incredibly caring and respectful towards others. “Shah Rukh is very respectful and loving. He will make you feel as if you have known him forever. If you go to his office, he will come and drop you to the gate. I believe Aryan is similar in this regard as well. He also takes care of everyone,” Pahwa shared.

In a light-hearted anecdote, Pahwa recalled a moment on set when he noticed Aryan’s food being delivered from Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s residence. Pahwa jokingly mentioned his desire to try the food, and Aryan immediately made sure that Pahwa also received meals from Mannat. “One day I saw Aryan’s food coming from Mannat and I said I also want it so he started getting it for me too. I used to tell Seema that I ate food from Shah Rukh Khan’s house. It was made by his special chef. We used to have chicken roll, etc. It was a good feeling.”

A Promising Start

In December 2022, Aryan Khan confirmed that he had completed his first script, which is backed by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. The shooting for Stardom was wrapped up in May, and the show is eagerly awaited by fans.

The show will also feature performances by Sunny Deol and Mona Singh, adding to the anticipation. Aryan’s journey as a director is being watched closely, and his dedication, as noted by Pahwa, promises a strong debut.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, and AbRam Khan have lent their voices for the upcoming film Mufasa: The Lion King, set to release on December 20, adding another exciting project to the Khan family’s slate.
