Anupam Kher Joins Forces with Prabhas for His 544th Movie

Anupam Kher Joins Forces with Prabhas for His 544th Movie

Anupam Kher announced his collaboration with Prabhas for his 544th film, widely referred to as the ‘Bahubali of Indian cinema’ for a new movie. The film will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The as-yet-to-titled film will have Hanu Raghavapudi at the helm, the acclaimed director of Sita Ramam. The production is being financed by Mythri Movie Makers, further fueling expectations.

Picking up his Instagram on Thursday, Kher posted a touching photograph with Prabhas, in which the two hug each other. Showing his enthusiasm, he captioned the photo: “ANNOUNCEMENT: Humbled to announce my 544th nameless film with the #Bahubali of #IndianCinema, the one and only @actorprabhas!”

Revealing further, he added that the cinematography for the film will be taken by his good friend and experienced DOP, Sudeep Chatterjee.

In his post, Kher joined in eagerly and said: “Kamaal ki kahaani hai aur kya chahiye life main Doston!” suggesting a captivating and sensational storyline waiting to be unraveled by fans.

The news has triggered buzz among fans since both Kher and Prabhas have been known for their blockbuster performances. Although Kher has been an Indian cinematic powerhouse for decades, Prabhas has achieved global popularity via blockbuster movies such as ‘Baahubali‘ and ‘Salaar’.

On Anupam Kher’s Work Front

While that was going on, Kher has also been busy with his fans lately and recently proved his mentorship skills in an entertaining acting class with OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwal. On an Instagram post, he tutored Agarwal through various takes of a scene, and it was apparent that acting could be learned through hard work.

Kher captioned the video: “When I brought out the actor in #Oyo Founder #RiteshAgarwal! I think there is an actor in each one of us. And he nailed it after 11 takes!”

On the work front, Kher was recently seen in ‘Emergency’ and continues to play varied roles, proving his versatility in the industry.
