Anant Ambani’s Nanny Reveals His Spiritual Side: Wanted A Mandir On His Study Table

Lalita Dsilva, the beloved pediatric nurse who cared for Anant Ambani in his early years, has recently been in the spotlight after taking care of Taimur Ali Khan, the son of Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Following Anant’s recent wedding, Dsilva shared touching memories of her time with the Ambani family, revealing his deep spiritual side and unique preferences.

Dsilva began working for the Ambanis in 1996, initially through a reference from Mukesh Ambani’s friend. She recalls her first encounter with the family fondly. “I had no idea who they were and went there casually. I got a warm welcome,” she told Hindi Rush.

One of the standout revelations from Dsilva’s interview was Anant Ambani’s early spiritual inclinations. “One day he told Kokilamami (Kokilaben Ambani) that he wanted a mandir on his study table. So she got him a mandir. He then needed a lamp and flowers. So we got him a lamp and flowers. He started doing puja daily on his study table. Anant has been spiritual. The entire family is spiritual,” Dsilva shared.

Dsilva also highlighted Anant’s deep compassion for animals. “He never wanted materialistic gifts. He would say, ‘Give me money, I will buy an animal. I save animals.’ Every birthday, he preferred money to support his animal welfare efforts rather than receive gifts,” she said.

Expressing her gratitude, Dsilva mentioned how warmly she is treated by the Ambani family. “If I am in London, Paris, or anywhere else, and if they happen to be there, I receive the same warm hug and love,” she added.

These personal insights into Anant Ambani’s childhood and character offer a glimpse into the values and warmth that have been a part of his life from an early age.
