Actress Rakul Preet Singh’s Brother Arrested In Drug Case

In a major crackdown in Cyberabad, police have seized a significant quantity of drugs and apprehended several individuals, including high-profile figures. Among those detained is Aman Singh, the brother of well-known actress Rakul Preet Singh. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 200 grams of cocaine valued at around ₹2 crore.

Authorities in Cyberabad have intensified surveillance on drug usage, with recent months seeing increased efforts to curb trafficking despite new methods employed by smugglers. The recent arrest of Aman Singh, allegedly involved in purchasing drugs from four Nigerians, has sparked renewed interest in previous allegations against his sister Rakul Preet Singh.

Rakul Preet Singh, a prominent figure in Telugu cinema, had previously faced scrutiny in September 2021 when she appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in Hyderabad regarding a broader drug and money laundering investigation. While no direct evidence linking her to drug activities has been found, the arrest of her brother has once again brought attention to the family’s connections.

The ongoing investigation into Aman Singh’s case is expected to uncover further details about his involvement and the extent of the drug network. Legal experts anticipate significant implications from the case, potentially leading to stricter enforcement measures against drug trafficking in Hyderabad and beyond.

The arrest has elicited varied reactions from the public and media, underscoring concerns about the influence of celebrities and their families in illegal activities. It highlights the continued efforts of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and maintain social order in the region.
