An FIR has been registered by Mumbai Police against an unknown person after a man’s body with multiple stab marks. The man was found on railway tracks at Kurla Railway Station on Tuesday.

“We received information about a person lying near the railway track. As the information came, the police reached the spot and took the body under their possession. There were many stab marks on the body,” Government Railway Police (GRP) said.

Meanwhile, a man who was stabbed multiple times has been identified as Nikhil Sawla who hails from Ghatkopar in Mumbai.

Moreover, against the unknown suspect, the case has been registered by the police under Section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
