Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Parivartan Yatra, which has been passing through various cities, arrived in Jalore on 8 September. Thousands of people are joining the Parivartan Yatra, and in each city, people are welcoming the BJP’s journey with enthusiasm.
The BJP’s transformation journey reached Bishangarh in Jalore after starting in Barmer. Leaders addressed the public in Bishangarh, and people from various places warmly welcomed the BJP’s journey.
In the Jalore district, the BJP currently holds four out of five seats. Leaders openly criticized the Gehlot government and raised issues concerning the state.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister of Jal Shakti Resources, and Kailash Choudhary, the Union Minister of State for Agriculture, both BJP leaders, were also present as regional journey coordinators. Other leaders who attended the event included Devji Patel, Member of Parliament, MLA Jogeshwar Garg, and more.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister of Jal Shakti Resources, issued a stern warning to the Gehlot government, accusing it of betraying the people. He mentioned that the government has failed to provide safety for women in the state, citing instances of rape and heinous crimes against women. Shekhawat criticized the government for increasing crime rates in the state.
He also questioned the government’s claims regarding electricity supply, stating that many households do not receive electricity, and the government has waived electricity bills without delivering consistent power supply. The promise of providing 24-hour electricity to farmers has not been fulfilled, with only 3 hours of electricity being supplied, he added.
The leaders also expressed concerns about youth employment and accused some leaders of being involved in paper leak scandals. If an investigation takes place, these leaders could be implicated.
This event showcased the BJP’s efforts to rally public support in Rajasthan, highlighting several issues and concerns in the state.
