As the Bhartiya Janata Party celebrates its 44th Foundation Day, PM Modi while addressing the celebration said that the party is committed to taking tough steps to remove corruption, nepotism and law and order challenges. He also slammed people with a “baadshahi” mindset for insulting the poor and backwards after the party stormed to power after the 2014 elections.

PM Modi addressed the party workers and cautioned against their complacency as he said that it is being already said that the party is undefeatable in the 2024 elections.

“Despite being the world’s biggest political party, we don’t have to be complacent. People have already started saying that no one can defeat the BJP in 2024. This is true but as BJP workers we have to win the heart of every citizen of the country,” he said.

Accusing the Congress and other political parties of being linked to nepotism, dynasty, casteism, and regionalism, Modi attacked them for carrying the culture of the main opposition party. He claimed that the BJP symbolises a new way of thinking that embraces everyone.

The prime minister claimed that these parties have been going through an existential crisis and have resorted to making accusations and conspiracies against the ruling party without mentioning the multiple accusations made by these parties against his government. They are angry and hateful, he said.

”Today, they have become so desperate that they have openly started saying ‘Modi teri kabar khudegi’ (your grave will be dug),” he said, asserting the support of the poor, tribals, backwards, Dalits and women among others will continue to protect ‘lotus’ and help it bloom.

PM Modi drew parallels with Lord Hanuman as his birth anniversary is being observed on Thursday. He asserted that the party believes in the idea of selfless service.

He said, ”The BJP has taken birth from the womb of democracy, and has been nourished and nurtured with the nectar of democracy.”
