The political drama in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues as the party-appointed central observers for the recently won states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. The suspense over the Chief Ministerial selection has kept political enthusiasts on the edge.
For Rajasthan, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Suresh Pandey, and Vinod Tavde, National Secretary General, have been named as observers. In Madhya Pradesh, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, K Laxman, National President, OBC Morcha, and Aasha Lakda, National Secretary, have been entrusted with the responsibility. The observers for Chhattisgarh include Union Tribal Minister Arjun Munda, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, and BJP leader Dushyant Kumar Gautam.
As the observers gear up to head to their designated states, the suspense over the selection of Chief Ministers in these crucial states continues. BJP National President JP Nadda was seen leaving the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah after a key meeting, adding to the intrigue.
While addressing reporters in Bhopal, BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya hinted that the suspense and speculation would finally come to an end on December 10. The final decision on Chief Ministers for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan is expected to be announced on that day. Vijayvargiya, however, kept the cards close to his chest, not revealing whether the party would choose leaders from among the newly elected MLAs or opt for outsiders.
The central observers are anticipated to meet the newly elected MLAs in the respective states before making the crucial announcement. Party leaders from the three states have been engaging in discussions with top party brass, including Home Minister Amit Shah and Party President JP Nadda, in Delhi. The unfolding political saga has heightened anticipation and speculation as the BJP navigates the intricate process of chief ministerial selection in these key states. The political landscape in the heartland awaits the final act on December 10.
