Meanwhile, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha donated his one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) on Monday, presenting a cheque to Additional Secretary Samit Roy Chowdhury. This donation is expected to significantly aid ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in the flood-affected areas. On X (formerly Twitter), Saha called on citizens and organizations to contribute to the relief efforts.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Saha urged citizens and organizations to join him in supporting the relief efforts. He stated, “I hereby contribute my one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the purpose of providing relief to the people affected by the floods.”

The Tripura government has also requested the central government to dispatch an advance Inter-Ministerial Central Team for an on-site evaluation of the flood damage in the state, according to a press release.
