Benipur Election Result: The Benipur Assembly constituency (AC-81) is a prominent General seat located in the Darbhanga district of Bihar. It is characterised by competitive electoral battles and falls within the Darbhanga Lok Sabha constituency. The current representative is the incumbent MLA Binay Kumar Choudhary of the Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)]. Jha secured his victory in the closely fought 2020 assembly elections. Historically, the constituency has been a battleground primarily contested by the Janata Dal factions, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Winner Binay Kumar Choudhary, representing JD(U), won the Benipur MLA seat in the 2020 elections against the INC's Mithilesh Kumar Chaudhary. He won with 61,416 votes. His rival, Mithilesh, secured around 54,826 votes.
