The grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 3 took place in Mumbai on Friday evening, with Sana Makbul emerging as the champion of the season. Makbul triumphed over competitors Ranvir Shorey and rapper Naved Shaikh, also known as Naezy, to claim the coveted trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. The finale was marked by intense competition between Sana and Naezy, but Sana’s strong support from the audience secured her victory.
Despite the celebratory atmosphere, the finale was not without its share of controversy. Following the announcement of Sana’s win, Ranvir Shorey made a stirring statement, suggesting that the show’s results should be determined by social media following rather than the competition itself. “Agar sirf social media following ke basis pe show pe rahenge, toh usse achha yeh hai ke jiski sabse zyada social media following hai usko seedha trophy de do (If staying on the show is only based on social media following, then it’s better to just give the trophy directly to the one with the most followers),” Shorey remarked.

In a touching moment, Ranvir Shorey was summoned to the confession room to view a heartfelt video message from Shehnaaz Gill, a finalist from Bigg Boss 13. Shehnaaz offered words of encouragement and congratulated Ranvir on his performance. “Hello Ranvir sir, I want to congratulate you. You have played the game with such honesty. You have shown your real personality with as much truthfulness as you display in your acting on screen. You have reached the top 5, and I hope you also win. May God bless you with lots of work when you come out,” Shehnaaz said in her message.
