Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj is revered as the incarnation of Hanuman ji. Born as Lakshmi Narayan Sharma in Akbarpur, Uttar Pradesh, Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj has numerous temples worldwide, with Kainchi Dham in Nainital, Uttarakhand, being the most significant.

Every year on June 15th, Baba’s devotees gather in large numbers for a fair held at Kainchi Dham, established in 1964. It is believed that Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj first visited Kainchi Dham in 1961.

This year marks the 60th foundation day of Kainchi Dham, celebrated with great enthusiasm. Following the morning aarti, Malpua Prasad will be distributed after offering it to Baba. Vehicular movement around the Dham will be completely halted during the celebrations.

Located approximately 65 kilometers from Nainital, Kainchi Dham is believed to fulfill every wish of its visitors according to religious beliefs. It is renowned for its miraculous occurrences. Notable figures like Apple founder Steve Jobs and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg have also visited Kainchi Dham.

Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj led a simple life and prohibited anyone from touching his feet, redirecting them to Lord Hanuman’s feet instead. He performed daily miracles and passed away on September 11, 1973, in Vrindavan. Baba always wore a blanket, a tradition continued by devotees who visit Kainchi.

The extraordinary life and miracles of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj have been chronicled in various books, including “Miracle of Love” and others.
