Though concerns arose within BJP following comments by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and RSS leader Indresh Kumar after election results, clarifications from RSS have alleviated tensions. The RSS has clarified that Bhagwat’s statement was “misconstrued”, while distancing itself from Indresh’s comments.
Bhagwat, currently touring Gorakhpur, reportedly will meet with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday. This meeting, the first since the election results, is expected to address UP’s electoral performance and future strategies. It is seen as a significant discussion between the two leaders.
