In a chilling development in the case of the Bengaluru CEO accused of murdering her four-year-old son, police sources have disclosed the discovery of a handwritten note among the belongings of Suchana Seth. Allegedly composed on tissue paper with eyeliner, the note hints at the CEO’s tumultuous relationship with her estranged husband, Venkat Raman.
Suchana Seth, the 39-year-old CEO of ‘The Mindful AI Lab,’ is facing accusations of murdering her son during a stay in a Goa hotel room, purportedly stemming from a bitter custody battle with her husband. While the precise content of the recovered note remains undisclosed by the police, sources indicate it sheds light on the CEO’s mental state and discontent with court orders allowing her husband to meet their child.
The note, a critical piece of evidence, has been dispatched to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for examination by a handwriting expert. Police emphasize its potential significance in unravelling the motives behind the tragic incident.
Suchana Seth, known as an AI ethics expert and data scientist with over 12 years of experience, will undergo a comprehensive medical examination and psychological evaluation. Police sources reveal her lack of cooperation with the investigation and an apparent absence of remorse.
The CEO had checked into an apartment in Candolim on January 6, where she stayed until January 8. Allegedly committing the crime in the apartment, she later transported the child’s body to Karnataka in a taxi. The shocking revelation emerged when apartment staff discovered bloodstains on a towel while cleaning the room. They promptly alerted the police, highlighting the CEO’s unusual behaviour with an exceptionally heavy bag and the absence of her son.
Post-mortem results unveiled that the four-year-old had been smothered to death, either with a piece of cloth or a pillow. As the investigation unfolds, the recovered note serves as a critical piece of the puzzle, providing insights into the tragic circumstances surrounding the CEO’s actions.
