The Trinamool Congress (TMC) alone has won 100 out of 108 results in this year’s municipal elections in West Bengal. The Taherpur municipality has been taken over by the Left. And then on the night of the announcement of the results of the municipal election, Abhijit Biswas was removed from the post of OC of Taherpur police station. After this incident, the question began to arise, is it a routine transfer?

However, according to administrative sources, this is a routine change. The high-ranking officials of the police station also did not want to open their mouths in this regard.

Meanwhile, the acting OC of Dhantala Police Station Amitosh Roy has become the OC of Taherpur Police Station. Political circles claim that this administration has been reshuffled because of the occupation of Taherpur Municipality by the Left Front.

There are total 13 wards in Taherpur municipality. The CPM owns 8 wards. The remaining 5 wards are occupied by Trinamool. According to political analysts, a strategy has worked behind the CPM’s victory. Because the CPM has confidence in the younger generation.
