BJP’s National General Secretary, B.L. Santosh held a review meeting of the membership campaign going on in the state, at the BJP office on Thursday. Addressing the meeting, he said that to achieve the goals, the workers should get together with pre-plans. Along with this, he called upon the district presidents to make migration programs at the Mandal and booth level and give impetus to the membership campaign by joining hands with the local workers there. BJP district presidents, in-charges associated with the campaign, conveners and key workers of the district teams were present in the meeting.
B.L. Santosh expressed disappointment over the slow pace of BJP’s membership campaign in the state. He questioned the rationale for the smaller number of members at the BJP’s state-level and district coordinators’ meeting.
The coordinators explained that the current farming season has contributed to the low membership numbers. B.L. Santosh responded, urging those occupied with farming to go to the fields and recruit members. He emphasised his intention to review each individual’s membership contributions from their mobile records. During the meeting, he also commended BJP state president Madan Rathod for exceeding the target by doubling the number of members recruited. With only 23 lakh members registered in Rajasthan so far, the goal remains to reach 1.25 crore members by October 15.
B.L. Santosh advised the party members to develop leadership qualities among fellow workers. He stated that one’s stature will naturally rise by becoming a leader. He noted that BJP is an ideology-driven party where a worker’s value is determined by their contributions. He stressed that the membership campaign is a crucial first step in building the workforce and called for serious efforts in this area.
To ensure the campaign’s success, he provided a three-point mantra: recruit new members daily, increase activities at every booth within the Mandal, and boost personal referrals during the membership drive.
BJP State President Madan Rathore accusesthe opposition of spreading confusion

Addressing the review meeting, BJP State President Madan Rathore said that the opposition in the country is creating an atmosphere of anarchy by spreading confusion. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi is tarnishing the country’s reputation by going abroad, and in Parliament, the audacity is being shown to call Hindus violent. Not only this, but an atmosphere is also being created to break the mutual goodwill in the country. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who considers 140 crore countrymen of the country as his family, is working for the unity, integrity and culture of the country. In such a situation, enthusiasm is being seen across the country to join the membership campaign of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Madan Rathore said, “BJP is committed to the protection of the reserved category. When it gets majority in the Centre and the state, steps have always been taken for the welfare of those classes. Whereas Congress and other parties consider them only as vote banks. Congress, which earlier showed laxity in implementing reservation, today talks about ending reservation in foreign lands. Modi ji has said that as long as BJP is in power, he will not let reservation be affected. On the other hand, the opposition is announcing to create conditions like Bangladesh in the country. By looking at the manifesto of Congress in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, their thinking can be guessed. The leaders of the political party which announces to restore the old system in Kashmir can never do good to the country. In such a situation, we need to increase membership to reach the idea of BJP to the public.”

BJP leaders boost membership drive and highlight achievements
BJP State In-Charge Dr Radha Mohan Das Agarwal urged party workers to approach their responsibilities with determination and resilience. He emphasised that the true strength of BJP lies in its dedicated members and encouraged them to work wholeheartedly for the organisation. While discussing the results of the Lok Sabha elections, he said that even though the seats have decreased, but the vote percentage of BJP has increased in 2024 as compared to 2019 and for the first time BJP government was formed in Odisha, in Andhra Pradesh we are in the role of an ally of the government, we have government in 13 states of the country and NDA government is working in 18 states. All this is the result of the struggle and continuous work of BJP workers.

State in-charge of BJP membership campaign Rituraj Sinha said that in the next 18 days, Maha Abhiyan will be run to speed up the membership. Participation of workers and public representatives from the state to the booth should be ensured in all these campaigns. He said that a positive trend has emerged regarding membership across the country. People are coming forward to strengthen the national idea in the political field by joining BJP.

State convener of membership campaign Dr Arun Chaturvedi, while presenting the introduction of the review meeting, said that the first phase of the membership campaign ended on Wednesday. Now the second phase of the campaign will run till October 15. Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat program will be held on September 29, Maha membership campaign will be run on October 5 and 6, and October 13 and 14.

Prominent leaders including B.L. Santosh also addressed two other meetings after this. He interacted with the people’s representatives of Jaipur division, while connecting with the people’s representatives of other divisions except Jaipur division through virtual medium and gave necessary guidelines regarding the membership campaign. Required officials along with state officials were present in the meeting.
